Pleurotus Compost
Quality wheat straw is cut into pieces 3 to 7cm long, which is wet and stirred for three days until it reaches 75% of humidity.
Following that, it is placed into a perfectly sealed tunnel where it willbe pasteurized. This process lasts about 10 hours at a temperature of 60ºC degrees, which is steam maintained. In the next step, temperature will be gradually reduced to 40-50ºC degrees (accommodation) and will be maintained for another 2 to 3 days according to task plan.
After lowering the temperature to 25ºC degrees, conditions are right to proceed to seeding, which happens with inoculated mycelium, wheat grains and sterilized corn.
At this phase, compost's PH must be between 7 to 7,5.
